An Oregon woman received a $260 traffic ticket when she was caught driving in the HOV lane with a giant teddy bear. She told reporters she thought she was getting away with it until the motorcycle police officer pulled up next to her.
She wasn’t angry about the ticket, but said she had learned her lesson.
She also cited that she had removed the bear from her closet, to clear up additional room, and put him in her back seat. That’s was where the bear was to remain until she dropped him at a goodwill, then she got the idea. The $260 fine will hopefully detour the young woman, a self proclaimed Good Samaritan, from any more mischief.
