Pop sensation Katy Perry will be visiting Rotorua to sample a hangi – if the town’s cultural tourism attraction has its way.
Perry is bringing her Prismatic World Tour to Auckland in December and has asked New Zealanders to recommend some kiwi experiences for her to take in, especially somewhere she can enjoy ”food cooked in the ground.”
For Te Puia marketing manager Eruera West, that means a stop in Rotorua.
