The first full-length trailer for The Wolverine has hit the net.
In director James Mangold’s sequel to the 2009 X-Men origins film, Hugh Jackman as mutant hero Logan/ The Wolverine, is facing some tough decisions.
The trailer reveals his encounter with a mysterious Japanese man who not only thanks him for saving his life, he also offers him mortality because, you know, “eternity can be a curse”.
So apparently he takes that chance and starts the transformation. Or is he forced
In frays with various samurai and other Yakuza henchmen that surely include a lot of slashing and trashing he learns that he bleeds and seems to have lost his supernatural healing powers.
But even without his mutant skills he’s still a formidable opponent, although his long and greasy hair indicates that he may have lost his drive for a while. Jackman however is still in an amazing shape.
