An Australian film-maker who found two young virgins willing to sell their bodies to the highest bidder has scored again.
Justin Sisely’s controversial documentary film Virgins Wanted is to be re-packaged for the small screen as a reality TV series.
The documentary – which follows Brazilian student Catarina Migliorini and Russian Alex Stepanov as they auction off their virginities – has been much criticised but Sisely says interest in the project has been huge.
Sisely told the Huffington Post that he had “signed a distribution contract with a leading global multi-national distributor of television content”.
“We are looking into a ‘VW 2’ due to the large amounts of emails we are still receiving from virgins and potential bidders looking for virgins all over the globe. (At least 50 per week). We have received over 500 videos of men and women from all over the world outlining why they should be the next virgin to auction their virginity.”
Last October Sisely announced that Migliorini had received a winning bid of $US780,000 for her virginity from a Japanese man. The top bid for Stepanov’s virginity was $US3000 and came from an Australian woman.
