Lindsay Lohan is the latest celebrity to fall victim to Twitter hackers.
A fake message was posted to the 26-year-old star’s feed on the social-media site, leaving all of Lohan’s 4.5 million followers a bit confused, reported E! online.
“How does Hitler tie his shoes? from @oatmeal,” read the odd tweet on Lohan’s profile, which included a link to a humour website.
The actress noticed the social media snag and she took to Twitter to set the record straight.
“My twitter was hacked, please ignore the last tweet,” she posted.
Pop star Daniel Merriweather and Hear’Say singer-turned-TV presenter Myleene Klass have had their accounts on the site illegally accessed this week.
However, her startling tweets about Hurricane Sandy, or as she called it “Hurricane Sally,” were 100 percent real, E!Online reports.
As previously reported. Lohan tweeted that she didn’t understand why everyone was in “such a panic” over the hurricane.
“WHY is everyone in SUCH a panic about hurricane (i’m calling it Sally)..? Stop projecting negativity! Think positive and pray for peace,” she wrote.
