Top this world, J. Quinn Miller has taken the best wedding photo of all time. You can tell it’s the best because it stars the ultimate wedding crasher: a T-Rex.
Miller, 22, a designer and photographer from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, came up with the idea of bringing terror to his friends’ wedding album and they ran screaming towards it.
He told stuff.co.nz that he had seen dino-photoboming once before and thought he could do something similar.
“It didn’t take any convincing to the bride and groom, knowing the groom’s love of dinosaurs,” he said. “They are such a fun couple and a fun wedding party that all I had to do is tell them to run away from an invisible dinosaur. And they did. We did it in one take – the entire shooting process in two minutes tops.”
But when you’re doing Jurassic Park weddings you’ve got to have a Steven Spielberg moment. Miller’s direction to the party was: “Run right at the camera, away from the T-Rex, as passionately as you can. I need to see fear and actual running, not lame faces and power walking.”
Miller completed the shot with a stock photo of a T-Rex. Spielberg would be proud.
