South Korea’s Y.E.Yang is still coming to terms with his historic victory at the PGA Championship where he became the first Asian-born golfer to win a major title. It was a triumph made the more remarkable because he was paired with overnight leader Tiger Woods in the final round and even Yang could scarcely believe he had defied the odds to win. “If I were to tee off tomorrow, I wish it wouldn’t happen,” Yang told CNN, acknowledging that the prospect of going head-to-head with Tiger is never a prospect to be relished

Charging Tiger leads at PGA Championship
Woods says he was not fined for outburst
Tiger Woods claims he escaped a fine for his outspoken comments about a tournament official after his four-shot win at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational on Sunday. Tiger in trouble as Watson shares lead
Tiger Woods was heading out of the British Open as 59-year-old Tom Watson shared the joint lead after a dream finish to his second round at Turnberry. World number one Woods endured a nightmare back nine on the Ailsa Course and stood seven-over par as Watson drained a 30-foot birdie putt on the 18th to join fellow American Steve Marino in the clubhouse on five under.
