Beyonce has poked fun at herself by revamping the lyrics to her hit song Halo to acknowledge her hair drama at a concert in Canada. The singer crouched down on the edge of the stage at the Bell Centre in Montreal on Monday to belt out the ballad when her long locks got swept up into the blades of an industrial-sized fan positioned in front of the audience pit.

CIA boss ‘leaked’ bin Laden raid details

Several weeks after overseeing the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, then-CIA Director Leon Panetta violated security rules by revealing the name of the raid commander to the writer of the film Zero Dark Thirty, US Defense Department investigators say. An unpublished draft report was first disclosed by the Project on Government Oversight and has been confirmed by Representative Peter King, who asked for the investigation nearly two years ago.

Shots fired at Cannes film festival

A man was arrested at the Cannes film festival after firing a starting pistol during a live TV broadcast on the palm-lined waterfront, sending actors Christoph Waltz and Daniel Auteuil running for cover. French TV station Canal+ was interviewing Austria’s Oscar-winning Waltz and French actor Auteuil live on its nightly news show from a beach-front set before a crowd of spectators when a man fired two shots into the air.

Malawi govt slams Madonna

Malawi has issued a scathing critique of pop diva Madonna, accusing her of exaggerating her contributions to the southern African country and demanding special treatment during her tour there last week. A spokesman for the pop star denied the accusations and suggested they were prompted by the recent removal of the president’s sister as head of Madonna’s humanitarian organization there
