Wellingtonian Cory Mathis has taken the top prize in the first Young Cartoonist Awards. The illustrator and digital artist, currently studying illustration at the Learning Connexion in Taita, won $5000.

Boston Family Guy episode pulled
Fox is pulling from websites a recent episode of Family Guy that depicts mass deaths at the Boston Marathon and has no immediate plans to air it again. Fox spokeswoman Gaude Paez says the episode has been removed from Fox.com and Hulu.com
