Conan O’Brien squabbles with New Jersey mayor

As with many jokes, it started with a small jab at the expense of New Jersey. The gags continued Monday night when “Tonight Show” host Conan O’Brien ventured into “the biggest scandal in the country that’s now involving a late-night host.” O’Brien was, of course, referring to his continuing comical conflict with the city of Newark, New Jersey, and its mayor, Cory Booker.

Microsoft’s Windows phones hit the market

After months of talking about Windows Mobile 6.5, Microsoft is announcing on Tuesday that the first crop of phones to carry the Windows Phone brand are ready to hit the market. A host of new phones running the new operating system are expected to debut between now and the holidays, with many being announced later on Tuesday.
