Liu, a former university lecturer and literary critic, was arrested for alleged agitation activities aimed at subversion of the government, the Xinhua agency reported Wednesday citing Beijing’s Municipal Public Security Bureau. Lui was arrested Tuesday, a police statement printed by Xinhua said.
