Azerbaijan gunman kills 12 at university

A gunman killed 12 people Thursday at a university in Baku, the capital of the former Soviet republic of Azerbaijan, before killing himself, the country’s interior ministry said. The WHO is troubled because in one of the 10 cases in Spain the virus was transmitted from person-to-person within the community. The other nine infected people had returned from Mexico, where the crisis is most severe, according to WHO spokesman Dick Thompson

Nadal and Murray in Florida 4th round

World number one Rafael Nadal reached the fourth round of the ATP and WTA hardcourt tournament at Key Biscayne in Florida on Monday with a 7-5 6-3 success over Portugal’s Frederico Gil. Nadal, who took the year’s first Grand Slam title by defeating Roger Federer in the Australian Open final, won 89 percent of his first serve points to just 57 percent for Gil. Financial crisis dominates G-20 agenda

Nadal wins after saving five match points

Top seed Rafael Nadal had to save five match points before beating Argentina’s David Nalbandian 3-6 7-6 6-0 to reach the quarterfinals of the Masters Series tournament at Indian Wells. The fourth round match in California finished at 2 am local time on Thursday morning with world number one Nadal racing through the decider after surviving the scares in the second set.
