Sola Rosa’s Andrew Spraggon has been forced to rest up ahead of the release of new single Promise.
“I had a [hand] injury years ago when we were playing at Splore, which progressively got worse over time, and eventually needed an operation which I had last year,” Spraggon says. ‘
‘It didn’t quite heal the way we wanted, so it was redone this year.”
Spraggon did manage to catch up with Sudanese singer Olivier DaySoul, who features on Promise, when he was in Auckland with Oddisee recently.
”It was great catching up with him,” Spraggon says. ”What a great! We also met to talk about some possible tour options and future recordings.
