Shakira is pregnant with her first baby and she is happy and proud to share it with the whole wide world.
Shakira announced her pregnancy last September, and later she said that they are expecting a baby boy. This will be a first child for both Shakira and Pique.
She made the announcement “”As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby! At the time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities over the next few days,” in her website both in Spanish and English.
In the photo that she posted on Twitter, the 35-year-old Colombian singer lies on her boyfriend, 25-year-old soccer player Gerard Pique, with her back on his chest. The parents-to-be were all smiles in front of the camera, reported Ace Showbiz.
The athlete wore a blue t-shirt, while Shakira was seen in a red top with its hem coming just above her rounded tummy.
“I could have another 9 months like this!,” she tweeted a caption along with the picture.
“At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days,” she had said.
