Jason Segel’s mother cried and then sent out a mass email to her family after hearing he’d appeared nude in a film.
The 34-year-old actor famously stripped off for his role in 2008’s Forgetting Sarah Marshall. He decided against telling his mother about the fully naked sequence before she watched it, leading to a pretty extreme reaction.
“She cried,” he told Vanity Fair, adding she then sent a missive to his whole family saying, “I would like to inform you all that Jason has chosen to do full-frontal nudity, however, it is not gratuitous and is essential to the plot.”
That remains the only time his mom Jillian has been forced to take such drastic action.
