Segel and Diaz don’t do shame

Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz don’t have a “tremendous sense of pride or shame”.

The 34-year-old actor and blonde actress star in upcoming comedy movie Sex Tape, in which they place a couple who discover an intimate video they made has gone missing.

To make the storyline convincing and humorous, the pair got caught up in some uncompromising positions while filming. Luckily for them they didn’t feel awkward about acting out the sensual scenes.

“I think we were really kind of spur of the moment with it. What was really amazing about doing it with Cameron is I think she and I come from a similar place when it comes to comedy. We don’t have a tremendous sense of pride or shame,” Segel told Entertainment Weekly in a behind-the-scenes interview.

“It was really like doing it with a buddy, which was cool. And the thing about the sex tape, they need to be embarrassed that it gets out… we really didn’t want it to be sensual or sexy.”

Diaz, who is currently loved up with rocker Benji Madden, admitted she and Segel improvised during a majority of the filming as they wanted to make it as amusing as they could.

“You wanted it to be kind of ridiculous, and absurd and humiliating,” she smiled. “We kind of made sh*t up as we went along.”

It seems Segel was able to learn something about himself throughout production and decided to share his discovery with fans.

“I know this will shock your readers, but it turns out there’s a finite number of ways my body’s able to move,” he mused.

This will mark Segel and Diaz’s second time working together after they both starred in 2011 movie Bad Teacher.
