Joe Jonas insists he does not have a sex tape.
The 23-year-old Jonas Brothers singer became ensnared in salacious gossip this week after reports emerged footage of the star and his Swiss model girlfriend making love leaked.
Jonas reportedly allowed a third party to tape him in an intimate tryst with Blanda Eggenschwiler while under the influence of marijuana and alcohol at a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
A representative for the singer has spoken out to slam the reports.
“There is no truth or validity to the story. It is completely false,” Jonas’ spokesperson told TMZ.
According to website Blind Gossip, the video features the pair using paddles, ball gags and other BDSM sex toys and is scheduled for release on April 3 by an unidentified party.
“At the beginning of the video, Joe and Blanda are sitting on the bed together,” a source told the website. “They are both drinking and smoking pot, and Blanda explains to Joe what she is going to do to him in detail.”
Eggenschwiler is sensationally accused of orchestrating the entire production.
The purported source told the outlet she had plans to break up with Joe after its release made her a household name.
“Eggenschwiler has told friends that Jonas was merely a stepping stone for her, that she has no interest in staying with him once the tape is out, and that she hopes that the sex tape will launch her career ‘like Kim Kardashian’,” the source continued.
“Eggenschwiler will deny her involvement in the distribution of the tape, and will express embarrassment about its release in the hopes of avoiding a backlash from Jonas supporters.”
Jonas and Eggenschwiler were first romantically linked back in November and have been seen out together several times since.
