The Rolling Stones will make an announcement at 2pm regarding their Australian/New Zealand tour following the death of Mick Jagger’s girlfriend L’Wren Scott.
Scott, 49, was found dead in her Manhattan apartment by an assistant.
Scott’s death has thrown a question mark over the Stones’ 14 On Fire tour.
The veteran British rock group landed in Australia on Monday and were set to perform their first concert in Perth on Wednesday.
They were set to play Auckland’s Mt Smart Stadium on April 5.
Jagger is said to be “completely shocked and devastated” by the news of his longtime girlfriend’s death, according to his spokesman.
The band will make an announcement at 9am Perth time (2pm NZT) regarding the tour, the Seven Network reported.
It would be their first gig Down Under since their 2006 A Bigger Bang world tour, during which guitarist Keith Richards infamously fell out of a coconut tree in Fiji and was flown to Mercy Ascot Hospital in Auckland to undergo brain surgery.
