Rob Kardashian is being sued for allegedly assaulting a paparazzo.
The 26-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is accused of getting into a violent confrontation with a female paparazzo at a West Hollywood gym.
According to a robbery report filed by the woman last month, Kardashian was upset when she began taking pictures of him at the facility and a confrontation erupted.
He then allegedly took the woman’s camera and removed the memory card.
The photographer, referred to only as Ms. Vaik, is now taking legal action.
“While this case is still in the preliminary stage, it is clear from our investigation that Robert Kardashian’s violent behaviour and his use of force towards Ms. Vaik was completely unjustified,” a lawyer for the photographer told TMZ.
Kardashian previously dismissed claims made by Vaik.
He claims the photographer was hiding in her car in the gym’s garage and waited to take a snap when Kardashian took his shirt off. The reality star has struggled with his weight as of late and is believed to be tipping the scales at 240lbs.
It’s not the first time he’s confronted a photographer.
In March 2012 Kardashian was accused of trying to “kill” a paparazzo in an incident that landed him in deep water with police.
He ended up in handcuffs and was almost arrested in Miami when he decided to chase the photographer.
Kardashian insisted he was just “joking” when he ran after the snapper.
But video obtained by TMZ showed the man yelling out to the police, “He’s attacking me … he chased me … he tried to kill me”.
Police let both men go after determining there was no altercation.
