Rihanna has seemingly hit out at Chris Brown, saying love isn’t “for kids”.
The singer confirmed over the weekend that the on/off couple have called time on their relationship.
During an interview with Australian radio show hosts Kyle and Jackie O Brown, 24, commented on Rihanna’s age, claiming he couldn’t be “wife-ing” someone so “young”.
Now the 25-year-old seems to have responded to the dig via a message on her Twitter account.
“Settling is not an option! Nothing less than 100% loyalty, honesty, and respect!! Love ain’t for kidz #butimsleeptho (sic)” she vented.
During the interview, Brown went on to say he was spending some time “solo” and concentrating on himself.
The couple are known for their volatile relationship and in 2009 they broke up after Brown assaulted the Barbadian singer.
It seems Brown using the social networking site to reflect on his relationship.
“Sometime loving someone is too much! So loving from a distance will help everyone grow! Be blessed. Live ya life! (sic) he tweeted.
Rihanna is currently busy with her Diamonds World Tour, while Brown is working on new music.
The stylish popstar didn’t attend the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala last night, but passed judgement on the outfits shown.
