After six years together, Electric Wire Hustle have been doing some major re-wiring ahead of the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album #BlackWater/Love Can Prevail.
The Wellington-based trio of Mara TK, David “Taay Ninh” Wright and Myele Manzanza, have said goodbye to Manzanza who is pursuing a solo career and welcomed on board ex-Mars Volta drummer Thomas Pridgen.
“We did a preview of the live show with new Thomas in our Wellington studio Blue Barn,” Mara TK says.
“It feels like there is a new spirit in the music with his boundless high energy. I’ve decided to outsource the bass to a guy we’ve been wanting to have in the band for a long time,” he laughs.
