Brad Pitt has reportedly purchased $2200 worth of jam.
The actor is particularly interested in jars of the fruity delicacy from France made by Christine Ferber.
Apparently he and 11-year-old son Maddox flew to Alsace in order to track down the producer and load up their cupboards in both Los Angeles and Cote d’Azur.
“Brad is very particular about what he eats but fell in lust with this jam,” a source told British newspaper The Daily Mirror.
“He turned detective and discovered Christine has a little shop in the Alsace region, where she makes the artisan jams. It is very well known among the jam-making fraternity.”
