Michael Jackson’s daughter has been hospitalised after a suicide bid, according to reports.
Fifteen-year-old Paris Jackson was taken to hospital Wednesday morning around 2am (Wednesday 9pm NZT) according to TMZ.
The celebrity news website claims she may have been attempting suicide.
A call was reportedly put into 911 reporting a possible overdose at her Los Angeles, California home at 1.27am local time.
TMZ claims emergency medics also saw cuts on her wrists.
Paris is the late singer’s only daughter. She has one older brother, Prince Jackson, and a younger brother, known by family and friends as Blanket.
Paris is known for using Twitter as a platform to express her feelings.
Her most recent tweets were posted early Wednesday suggesting feelings of distress.
“yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they’re here to stay,” (sic) she wrote in reference to the Beatles’ song Yesterday.
She also quoted Zee Avi’s single Concrete Wall.
“you say i need therapy, well, my darling, so do you. don’t need for you to tell me what is wrong in all i say or do,” (sic) Paris wrote.
The teen later seemed to reveal she was crying.
“I wonder why tears are salty” she asked.
Reports suggest Paris is now “doing ok”.
The Jackson family has yet to release a public statement addressing the reports.
