Mumford & Sons bassist Ted Dwane has shared a photo of his new post-op look on the band’s website.
The British indie band was forced to cancel several shows after Dwane discovered he had a blood clot on the brain.
The rocker had emergency surgery last week and is now recovering, sans the shaggy mop of hair he’s usually sports.
He posted his new bald look with the message: “Bear with a sore head! Thanks so much for all the well wishing, it seems to be working! I’m home.”
His bandmates made light of his ordeal, saying he “has been nothing short of heroic in how he has handled the whole ordeal, and now it has been medically proved that he does indeed have a brain”.
Mumford & Sons insist they are not planning to cancel or postpone any other dates on their tour, which will take them to countries including Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia and Japan.
The group are currently touring to showcase their hugely success second album Babel, which topped charts all over the world when it was released last year.
