Miley Cyrus has slammed Katy Perry after the I Kissed a Girl singer called her tongue infamous.
The two pop stars had been on good terms so far, even locking lips at a Los Angeles show of Cyrus’ Bangers tour while she performed Adore You.
“I just walked up to her to give her like a friendly girly kiss, you know, as girls do,” Perry told Australian TV programme Sunrise. “Then she like tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away.”
She then went on to explain why she pulled away: “God knows where that tongue has been. We don’t know! That tongue is so infamous!”
But Cyrus didn’t seem to see any humour in Perry’s comments and lashed out on her on Twitter.
The Wrecking Ball singer posted a shot of Perry’s quote and seemingly referenced her now ex-boyfriend John Mayer, who has previously dated a string of stars, including Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift and Jessica Simpson.
