It was reported that Mila Kunis who was recently crowned as the Sexiest Woman Alive by men’s magazine Esquire, has emerged as the front runner to play the lead female role in the movie adaptation of novel Fifty Shades Of Grey.
The 26-year-old brunette’s girl-next-door charm has put her to the top of the list of actresses in contention to play Anastasia Steele, who becomes lured into an S and M lifestyle by older billionaire Christian Grey, the Sun reported.
Emma Watson and Kristen Stewart are also being favoured to star in the big screen adaptation of E.L. James’ best-selling novel.
Ryan Gosling and ‘The Vampire Diaries’ star Ian Somerhalder are popular choices to play mysterious businessman Christian Grey.
Yet according to “Gather Entertainment” this weekend, the “Ted” star is not in current talks to play the girl with “eyes too big for her face” with beautiful brown hair that leaves Christian wanting more than just a bite of the lower lip.
A source close to Mila revealed late this Friday that while the actress called the role “interesting,” it’s simply “not true” that she is in talks now to be cast in the “Fifty Shades of Grey” film.
This makes sense, because although movie writer Kelly Marcel was recently confirmed this week to pen the screenplay for “50 Shades”—it’s finally coming together!—the producers likely won’t be in talks with any Christian Grey or Ana Steele hopefuls until those lines are done. Of course, what’s next on the waiting list is to see who will stand at the helm as director of EL James’ bestselling novel’s silver screen adaptation (Angelina Jolie was rumored earlier this year to possibly direct, and this remains an interesting possibility).
Other frontrunners for the hotly coveted Anastasia Steele casting role are Alexis Bledel, Alexandria Daddario, Emma Watson Lucy Hale, and Emilia Clarke.
