Not everyone was applauding Woody Allen during the Golden Globe Awards yesterday.
While the Globes paid tribute to the director by giving him the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement, his ex-wife, Mia Farrow, and their son, Ronan Farrow, spoke out on Twitter.
Mia Farrow and Allen had a 12-year relationship, but split when she found out that Woody was having an affair with her adopted daughter from another marriage, Soon-Yi Previn.
When the Allen tribute began airing on the Globes, Mia Farrow tweeted:
Time to grab some icecream & switch over to #GIRLS

Ronan Farrow was a bit more, uh, forward. He tweeted
Missed the Woody Allen tribute – did they put the part where a woman publicly confirmed he molested her at age 7 before or after Annie Hall

In 1992 Farrow’s daughter Dylan claimed Allen had touched her inappropriately. The resulting court case was eventually dropped. Woody went on to marry Soon-Yi Previn.
However Dylan, who has since changed her name, stood by the allegations and spoke to Vanity Fair about them last year.
“I’m scared of [Allen], his image. I have never been asked to testify. If I could talk to the seven-year-old Dylan, I would tell her to be brave, to testify,” she told the magazine.
