Teenage singer Lorde has been nominated for Song of the Year for her chart-topper Royals at the Grammy Nominations ceremony in Los Angeles.
The Auckland 17-year-old’s fellow nominees include Macklemore, Bruno Mars, Pink and Katy Perry.
Lorde’s hit single was at the top spot of the US Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for nine weeks.
The teen, whose real name is Ella Yelich-O’Connor, is also tipped to be nominated for Record of the Year and Best New Artist.
P!nk’s Just Give Me A Reason, Bruno Mars’ Locked Out Of Heaven, Katy Perry’s Roar and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ Same Love were the other four songs nominated.
The Grammys are on January 26.
