Elizabeth Hurley has reportedly been left “humiliated” by Shane Warne.
The model-and-actress dated the Australian cricketer for three years on-and-off and they were engaged until December. Recent claims that Shane had a fling with the boss of underwear giant Ultimo, Michelle Mone, has resulted in the couple allegedly ending their relationship for good.
The sportsman has since labelled himself single, and Elizabeth is said to be upset over his actions.
“Liz has told pals this is the final straw – she’s extremely hurt and wants nothing to do with him. She feels humiliated and has told Shane this,” a source told British magazine Closer.
“He had been trying to woo back Liz and was putting in lots of effort. His comments [about being single] came out of the blue for Liz – she’d really thought they’d patch things up.”
Hurely has 13-year-old son Damian from a previous relationship. It is thought the teenager became attached to Shane during their time together, but the 48-year-old beauty is still reportedly determined to move on from her ex.
“Liz doesn’t relish being single. She liked that her son Damian felt Shane was part of the family, too, but she knows it’s over for good now,” the source added. “She may be feeling down, but she isn’t going to sit around and wallow.”
The brunette star has hinted at her troubles several times through social-networking sites. She recently posted a powerful message, which is thought to reflect how she feels.
“Everything happens for a reason. But sometimes the reason is that you’re stupid and you make bad decisions,” the photo reads, with the all the letters in upper-case.
