Kutcher, Moore ‘finalise divorce’Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have officially ended their marriage.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon finalised the couple’s split on Tuesday, roughly a year after Kutcher sought to end the couple’s marriage.
Moore, 51, married Kutcher in 2005, but the couple announced they had decided to split in 2011.
The Two and a Half Men star and his ex had allegedly been negotiating terms of a financial settlement for several months before dissolving their eight-year union.
Rumours have been circulating for weeks Kutcher has been waiting for the paperwork to be finalised so that he could be free to marry girlfriend Mila Kunis. The pair are said to be discussing starting a family.
“Ashton has been getting a lot of pressure recently from his family who have been asking whether he and Mila intend on having children,” a source said.
“Ashton has made no secret of the fact that he wants to have a baby and he’s told his family that they’re not taking any ‘precautions’ against having a baby. In other words, he and Mila are ready to be parents.”
The couple are reportedly in no rush to head down the aisle, however. The longtime friends, who co-starred in That ’70s Show, are said to be relieved they can finally start their lives together.
“They don’t really care if marriage comes before baby, in fact, they don’t think they have to be married to have a child,” the insider explained.
This marks Kutcher’s third divorce. She split from first husband Freddy Moore in 1985 and from Bruce Willis, with whom she shares three daughters, in 2000.
