Kim Kardashian has unveiled her much-anticipated wedding dress.
And the verdict is – it’s breathtaking!
The television diva tied the knot with rapper Kanye West in a lavish ceremony in Florence, Italy at the weekend. They said their “I do’s” at the Forte di Belvedere surrounded by family and friends.
Kardashian has now uploaded select pictures to her Instagram account, sharing with fans intimate moments from her special day.
In the first she can be seen walking down the aisle, holding Kanye’s hand. She has captioned the shot “Mr & Mrs Kanye West”.
In the background Kardashian’s mum Kris is holding the couple’s baby, North West – and the tot is smiling at her parents.
The next photo sees Kardashian and West sharing their first kiss as a married couple.
Hollywood Life said the bride looked “simply breathtaking”.
Fashionista wrote “Even after all of the hype, we have to say we’re blown away at how gorgeous Kardashian’s gown is.”
The Guardian reported that Givenchy’s creative director Riccardo Tisci – a friend of Wests – designed the dress, which featured long lace sleeves, a diamond-shaped cut-out bodice and a very, very big veil.
“Despite all this, the look actually managed to be quite understated (for Kim, anyway).
“The Guardian fashion verdict is: The Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress, plus sex appeal and a mosquito net. That’s a good thing, btw.”
The wedding was one of the most hotly anticipated in the showbiz world. Celebrity guests included singer John Legend and his model wife Chrissy Teigen, and designer Rachel Roy.
Kardashian’s famous family, including sisters Kourtney and Khloe were all there, though her brother Rob was notably absent.
At the reception West is thought to have made a speech where he declared he was now a Kardashian.
“It’s amazing to look around this room. There are so many talented people. F*** y’all, I’m a Kardashian!” The Sun reported the rapper as saying.
