Kim Kardashian is not retreating from her life in the spotlight. The TV star who is currently expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West said that she wasn’t planning to take a break from reality TV show Kourtney & Kim Take Miami.
“I think that that got misinterpreted,” the 32-year-old said.
“I said that when our contract is over I have other goals that I would like to work on, but it doesn’t mean that I won’t do both at the same time,” she explained.
“I have to figure it out, my goal has always been to get to season ten and then re-evaluate it then.”
She also insisted that the biggest misconception she had to face, was that people thought it was really easy to have a reality show and that she and her sisters didn’t really work.
“In fact we work extremely hard on our clothing line, and our make-up line, we have so much going on that we feel a little discredited when people constantly say ‘Well, what do you do’ That for me really doesn’t make sense because we work really hard,” she said.
Although father-to-be Kanye West recently indicated that Kim would have their baby always from the cameras, her sister Kourteny has great memories of giving birth on TV.
“Kim was there both times and we were both there when our little sisters were born, Kendall and Kylie, which I think is great because it puts at least some sort of idea in your head of what’s going to happen,” she explained.
“I think it is one of the scariest things when you get pregnant just wondering what the deliveries going to be like. I feel like every experience is so different, and I think that her witnessing that, hopefully, will help.
“I had a really calm and peaceful experience, so hopefully she isn’t as scared after seeing that,” she said.
