For a house once full of love and children, there sure seems to be a lot of hate going on with the Gosselins.
This time, it’s former Star reporter Kate Major, who said she and Jon Gosselin had a fling shortly after his breakup with wife Kate Gosselin — an allegation he’s strenuously denied. “I will take a lie detector test and I would love for Jon to take a lie detector test because for him to say there was no romance is a complete lie,” Major told HLN’s “Showbiz Tonight” in an interview set to air Wednesday night. Major, who once professed falling in love with the 32-year-old father of eight, said she was dearly mistaken. “I think I was in lust with him, but no, I didn’t love him,” she said, adding, “I despise him.” An interesting choice of words, considering that’s precisely what Jon said about his estranged wife earlier this month. Major says she’d like to talk to Gosselin — not Jon, of course, but to Kate, 34.
“If I could talk to Kate Gosselin, I would definitely, I think we would have a lot in common, and I feel badly for her,” she says. “I think she’s definitely taking the high road in this, and I’m sure it’s very hard and the last thing I would want is for any of his children to see this, but then again, I’m not the parent.” Not exactly good timing for Jon, who’s been hit by allegations from one of his childrens’ nannies, Stephanie Santoro, that they had an affair after the Gosselins filed for divorce. Santoro worked at the family’s Pennsylvania home for a month while he was dating current girlfriend Hailey Glassman. “The content of the story is shocking … The tabloids don’t need a stimulus package from President Obama,” Jon Gosselin’s new lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, said Wednesday. “They simply need to find a storyteller each week who is out of work and can greatly benefit by being the recipient of $100,000-plus for a hot story concerning Jon Gosselin, which, for the most part, is sensational regardless of whether or not it is verifiable or true.”

Jon Gosselin, meanwhile, got yet another piece of bad news when his divorce lawyer, Charles Meyer, dropped him as a client. Meyer filed to withdraw as Gosselin’s attorney on Monday. Gosselin will now be represented in his split by Mark Jay Heller, who happens to be the father of his manager, the aforementioned Mike Heller.
