“He then gave them to a private jeweller friend to make Kim a one-of-a-kind engagement ring.”
The source claims Kanye’s heartfelt offering reflects the fact that he loves Kim “just as much as his mum”.
This news didn’t surprised us since Kanye is renowned for making rash, inappropriate outbursts. It may be true that he is gonna ask Kim once her divorce from Kris Humphries finalizes.
Kanye has asked a jeweller to design a “one-of-a-kind” ring for the 31-year-old reality TV star.
And it won’t be just any ring. Kanye is reportedly using diamonds from his late mum Donda’s personal collection.
Which includes diamond earrings and a ruby ring. Even though it sounds like a really romantic gesture friends and family thinks that it is a mistake.
“Donda was such an important person in Kanye’s life, he thought the world of her and was devastated when she died. So, he kept all her jewelry as keepsakes – a lot of the pieces were items he bought over the years after he made it as a hip-hop star. And now, Kanye has found a woman he respects and loves just as much as his mom, so he wants to share her jewelry collection with Kim.”
“[They] think it’s a terrible idea and are advising him not to give Kim the ring,” a source said.
“Because it’s a gift, it would be difficult for Kanye to ask for it back if they ever split up.”
