Angelina Jolie has revealed that she recently underwent a preventative double mastectomy.
The Hollywood actress, whose mother Marcheline Bertrand died of ovarian cancer in 2007, was tested to see whether she carried the ‘faulty’ gene, BRCA1, that increases her risk of developing breast cancer and ovarian cancer.
