During her appearance on Katie Couric‘s new talk show Monday, Jessica Simpson shared an adorable photo of her four-month-old daughter with fiance Eric Johnson. In it, the tot — sporting some serious bed-head — strikes a pose, wearing a homemade yellow two-piece over her diaper.
While chatting with her host, Simpson, 32 — who debuted her slimmer post-baby body in a chic Roland Mouret peplum frock on the show — opened up about becoming a mom for the first time.
“Motherhood is a dream,” gushed the Fashion Star mentor. “It really is absolutely amazing. [Maxwell] had her first flight yesterday. Did not sleep! She didn’t cry. She just wanted to babble.”
Even on the days things don’t go so smoothly, Simpson knows she can count on Johnson, who’s already a pro when it comes to looking after his little girl. “People call him the best dad in the world. Even my dad calls him that!” Simpson boasted. “He can do everything. He can change every diaper . . . he’s just a very peaceful person.”
