Saturday night police received news that Katherine Jackson (Michael Jackson’s Mother) had been missing for over two days, after her grandchildren were unable to get in touch with her for a week.
The 82-year-old matriarch of the Jackson music family left her Calabasas, California, home on July 15, to fly to Albuquerque, New Mexico, to attend a Jackson brothers concert two days later, said Jackson’s lawyer Sandra Ribera.
Now Jermaine and Randy Jackson are claiming that their mother is fine and she has been examined by doctor ‘ Allan Metzger, who testified for the defense during Dr.Conrad Murray‘s involuntary manslaughter trial.
“Randy are Jermaine seem to be trying to take control of Katherine’s affairs. The fact that Michael’s children have been unable to talk to her is extremely distressing. Jermaine has Tweeted that Katherine is in Arizona, on the advice of a doctor and resting. Why does she need to be in another state and unable to communicate with Paris, Prince and Blanket, as she is their legal guardian,” a family source tells.
Michael’s mother gets $70,000 a month from her late son’s estate for living expenses. The sole beneficiaries of Michael’s estate are his three children and his mother.
“I want to reassure everyone (inc all sudden medical experts) that Mother is fine but is resting up in AZ on the orders of a doctor, not us,” Jermaine Jackson tweeted Sunday morning. “This is our mother and her health is paramount. We are not inventing or plotting anything. We are following doctor’s advice. Period.”
