Israeli President Shimon Peres fainted Saturday evening after giving a speech in Tel Aviv, the president’s spokeswoman told CNN.
Peres, 86, fainted during the question-and-answer session after his speech at Rabin Center, but was revived a few moments later, spokeswoman Meital Jaslovitz said. He was taken to a hospital for further examination, but Jaslovitz said he was awake. No further details were immediately available.
