There’s something odd, possibly even uncomfortable, about seeing former child stars all grown up and sexing it up for the cameras.
Mackenzie Rosman, who played little Ruthie in 7th Heaven, has decided at the age of 23 that it’s high time she stripped down to her bra and pants for Maxim magazine in the US.
She may have felt it was the done thing to do, or, more likely, that it was a sure-fire way to raise her profile and land some acting gigs. That’s what former 7th Heaven castmate Jessica Biel did in 2000, when she posed semi-nude for Gear magazine, and things worked out for her in the end.
“I was probably nine at the time, but I remember that. It was a big deal,” Rosman told Maxim. “The magazine was banned on set, I think by orders of Aaron Spelling. I sneaked a peek at it, though. It was racy gossip amongst the women of 7th Heaven!”
Nick Jonas, another former child star, has cut out the middle man and posted a racy pic of his incredibly buff body straight to his Instagram account.
The pic is captioned: “I never do this but… Healthy living and fitness update. Post workout picture. #diabeticinshape #2.0”
“I never do this but…” seem like the words of someone who’ll be posting more racy photos.
