Hugh Hefner’s wife is revelling in newlywed bliss. Crystal Harris married the publishing magnate in a lavish New Year’s Eve ceremony at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles last year.
The couple’s romance has had its share of critics due to their 61-year age gap. Crystal is 26 and Hugh 87.
Reports their romance wasn’t for keeps reached a climax when Crystal became a runaway bride.
The couple were first due to marry in June 2011 but she called it off just days before the ceremony.
Three months after their nuptials the model says she couldn’t be happier, and she isn’t looking back.
“I’m having the time of my life,” she cooed on America’s KTLA news network.
Crystal said she’s particularly in love with Hugh’s romantic side and admitted his gestures can often be over-the-top.
“He’s an amazing man, such a romantic,” Crystal gushed.
“For Valentine’s Day, he was like, ‘What kind of flowers do you like Do you like roses Do you like mixed flowers’ I like everything, so he got me everything… He’s just so sweet.”
Hugh is believed to have a back-up plan just in case his new bride does have a change of heart.
A month prior to the nuptials, a lawyer visited the couple’s residence to finalise the paperwork for a prenuptial agreement, according to Radar Online.
“Hef’s lawyer dispatched his assistant to the Playboy Mansion approximately three weeks ago with the final version of the prenuptial agreement for them to sign,” a source told the website after the vows.
Crystal will reportedly have no rights over Hugh’s assets should they split or if the ageing multi-millionaire dies.
This is the third time ladies’ man Hugh has been married, while it is Crystal’s first union.
