Sadly today Good Morning America Host, Robin Roberts, announced she is beginning the battle with MDS (Myelodysplastic syndromes).
The beloved host of the popular morning talk show said the MDS was a result of her earlier battle with breast cancer. The stated how helpful the support of her friends, family and viewers was while she was overcoming the breast cancer.
She told the audience that she was making this announcement early because she is going to have a PICC line inserted in her upper arm, for easier IV access, and the bandage would be visible. Roberts will eventually be facing a series of treatments for bone marrow transplants.
