Fly My Pretties to launch again

New Zealand’s most exciting musical collective, Fly My Pretties, is assembling for another reincarnation.

And we at Stuff proudly present their 20 date Homeland Tour this September.

For the fifth time since its inception in 2004 Barnaby Weir will call together a cast of the country’s finest musicians.

This time around Fly My Pretties return to their roots, as they embark on 20 shows starting in Kaitaia and ending in Invercargill.

Putting together a brand new cast of talent and a new book of songs reminiscent of the acoustic styles of their early releases; the mammoth tour will introduce the collective’s iconic show to heartland New Zealand for the first time.

“This tour is going to be off the hook”, says Weir.

“Finally we get to take the Fly My Pretties experience to places it’s never been seen before; I know it’s going to be one hell of a musical excursion.”

Fly My Pretties are an award-winning, collaborative group. The focus of the project is on original music, artistic collaboration and surrounding themes, making it more of an experience than just a concert.

In keeping with Fly My Pretties tradition, all 20 shows of the Homeland Tour will be filmed and recorded live for their 5th full-length release.
