Just like every family its also the holiday season for the first family and they sure enjoy it as much as we do.
Welcoming the fresh scent of pine into the White House, First Lady Michelle Obama, her daughters, and the first dog were on hand for the arrival of this year’s Christmas tree on Friday (November 23).
Arriving by horse-drawn carriage, the tree is a 19-foot Fraser fir from Peak Farms in Jefferson, North Carolina.
Pulled by two Clydesdales, the Marine Band played the familiar carol “Oh Christmas Tree” as it got closer to the house. It will be on display in the Blue Room of the White House when it is decorated.
Burying her face in the fragrant needles, Mrs. Obama approved of the giant tree, while Portuguese water dog Bo also seemed pleased with the arrival. After inspection the First Lady gave the thumbs-up and said, “It’s a go.”Celebrity Gossip reported.
