“And the guy just kept eating, eating the other guy away” that’s what eye witness Larry Vega told WSVN News of Miami, Fl. Vega came upon the gruesome scene as he was riding his bicycle off the MacArthur Causeway Exit in Miami. Instead of fleeing, the cyclist stopped and tried to aid the victim by shouting at the attacker to stop “I told him to get off”. Vega then flagged down a Miami Police Officer who jumped over the barrier, brandished his weapon and shouted several times for the for the assailant to stop. Vega recalls the response of the attacker to the officer was “he stood his head up with a piece of flesh in his mouth and growled”.
The violence continued after the officer discharged a round in into the assaulter, who still, according to Vega, continued to chew on the other man’s face even after several shots had been fired, one even striking him in the head. The police officer eventually inflicted a fatal gunshot. On describing the scene afterwards Vega could only say “it was just a blob of blood, you couldn’t see like. . it was just a blob of blood”.
The aftermath of the attack was caught on Miami Herald CCT (Closed Circuit Television), where both men can been seen lying naked as rescue workers come to the aid of the victim. The rescue crews then rushed the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where news sources told WSMV that the injuries the man sustained were some of the worst they had ever seen, with over 75% of his face missing. The victim of this grisly crime still remains in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Authorities have yet to identify either of the men; Vega believes they both may have been homeless.
Armando Aguilar of The Miami Fraternal Order of Police theorizes upon a possible cause, linking Saturday’s macabre scene to a potent new form of LSD “What’s happening is whenever we see that a person has taken all of his clothes off and has become violent, it’s indicative of this excited delirium that’s caused by overdose of drugs” Aguilar gave further details of the new forms of the old drug as well as the effects of the generalized overdosing into itself “What’s happening is inside their body their organs are burning up alive.”
