Erin Brockovich, the gutsy environmental activist whose life story won Julia Roberts an Oscar, has apologised for being drunk in a boat.
She looked very much the worse for wear in the mugshot police released after they arrested her for allegedly driving a boat while intoxicated.
According to the Nevada Department of Wildlife, breathalyzer tests showed Brockovich’s blood-alcohol level was twice the legal limit when she was picked up at Lake Mead near Las Vegas.
