Emma Watson has split from her college boyfriend.
The 23-year-old Harry Potter star began dating William Adamowicz shortly after they met at Oxford in 2011 and recent rumours suggested they were close to getting engaged.
But according to UK newspaper The Mirror, the pair has called it quits due to her busy work schedule.
“Emma and Will separated last [northern] summer and are no longer in touch,” a spokesperson for the actress told the outlet.
Adamowicz is embroiled in controversy after he was pictured last week with a white powder, a $100 bill and a New York City MetroCard splayed on a table in front of him.
The 23-year-old has denied the powdery substance in the image, reportedly posted on Facebook by one of his friends, was a drug.
“The picture is not compromising. It is not what you think. They are not packages. They are not drugs. They are just bits of scrap paper. I don’t take any drugs,” he told the publication.
Adamowicz declined to elaborate further.
