Millions of New Yorkers were surprised to see David Beckham on the streets of Manhattan in his undies but that didn’t stop them posing next to him and taking pictures.
Sorry ladies I didn’t want to excite you. When I said David Beckham in his undies I have meant his silver statues for H&M not David himself.
Huge statues of the football player wearing just his pants were erected in various locations around New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, proving he truly is a larger than life star.
Pride of England; David Beckham joined forces with H&M to design a range of underwear for men in February.
The soccer’s superstar previously modeled for Armani’s underwear line.
In a statement he said: ‘I am so excited about this new campaign for David Beckham Bodywear at H&M. I wanted to express the strength and quality of the David Beckham Bodywear collection with these images and also the wearability and fit.
‘I love the range and feel so comfortable in each of the pieces. It has become second nature for me to wear it!’
The affordably priced bodywear range includes vests and long-sleevers as well as boxer shorts and briefs and will be available at around 1800 H&M stores in 44 countries worldwide, as well as online.
