Charlie Sheen’s “Anger Management” could have been named “One and a Half Man”

Tonight was the first time we have seen Charlie Sheen in a TV show after getting fried from CBS’ “Two and a Half Men” last year,  his new FX show, “Anger Management,” aired tonight but didn’t quite  left us with high expectations.

Ironically Sheen stars in the new series as  baseball player-turned-therapist Charlie Goodson, whose anger problems ended his baseball career.

Critics thinks that other than the title of the show or that different story line not a whole lot has changed since his days on “Two and a Half Man”

“The dialogue has just enough profanity and risque punch lines to pass muster on cable, but ‘Anger Management’ is at heart a simple, old-fashioned sitcom, with raucous recorded laughter and predictable one-liners … Basically it provides a safe format for Mr. Sheen to show that he is sane and almost his old, pre-Warlock self,” says the New York Times. “It could easily be titled ‘One and a Half Men.'”
