Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) will be back on the silver screen in the sequel to Captain America, which is set to roll out in 2014.
Frank Grillo (Zero Dark Thirty, Gangster Squad) will make his Marvel movie debut as supervillain Crossbones, a cold-blooded assassin who has enjoyed quite a few run-ins with Captain America since the late 80s.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier will pit the Captain against his former friend Bucky Barnes, who turned into an assassin for the Soviets after being struck by amnesia. It will also introduce Anthony Mackie as The Hawk (Marvel’s first African-American superhero) to audiences not yet acquainted with the winged crusader from the original comics.
