Bruce Jenner has supposedly “never expressed interest in becoming a woman”.
The 64-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star underwent surgery to reduce the size of his Adam’s apple a few months ago, which is a procedure many transgender people have performed before a sex change.
But friends close to Jenner don’t believe he’s at all concerned with transforming his sex.
“[Sex change claims are] absurd,” a source told People magazine, with another insider adding: “Bruce has never expressed interest in becoming a woman.”
The Olympic athlete split from wife Kris Jenner late last year, and apparently his physical alterations are related to heartbreak.
Loved ones purportedly believe he is “having an identity crisis”.
“Bruce is definitely concerned with his looks and always has been,” the insider claimed, noting being on TV for several years “made him even more hyper aware” of his appearance.
“The guy is getting older and doing what he can to keep a youthful look. If that means plastic surgery, so be it,” a family friend added.
Bruce and Kris Jenner were married for 22 years and they share two children together, Kendall and Kylie.
And Bruce’s recent drastic change in appearance is said to be confusing his daughters.
“Kylie and Kendall just don’t know what to think. It’s extremely confusing for them to grasp,” a source told Radar Online previously.
“There is just no denying Bruce’s recent physical changes, and he does look more feminine.”
